Our Lady of Chiquinquirá Basilic: the most famous landmark of the old town, located near the Plaza Bolívar it is the biggest and beautiful temple of the city and is the heart of Maracaibo.

Plaza de la Virgen de Chiquinquirá y todos los Santos: in front of the Basilic this beautiful and quite park offers a unique view of the downtown, the main attraction is the monument to Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, a 6 feet tall statue surrounded by fountains, unique in the world cause' is the only one that shows all the misterys of the virgen Mary. 

Vereda del Lago Park: a large park in the shores of the Maracaibo lake is the main park of the city and offers many ammeneties, you'll find voleibol, soccer, baseball, tennis and bascketball instalations, also a karting circuit, an ostrich farm, a peting zoo and the station of Maracaibo's street car, dedicated to tourism that gives you a tour accross Maracaibo's most important landmarks.

Conoce tu Puente Museum: located next to the Maracaibo's Lake Bridge is a museum of history and a balcony that offers a fantastic view to the bridge specially at night when the bridge offers a unique color lights show.

Santa Rosa de Agua: a part of the past preserve in this time, the Santa Rosa de Agua neigborhood is conform by palafitos, typical wood houses over the water.

La Marina Park: the main attraction is the observation deck located in the center of the park from where you can enjoy a view of the city, the lake, the east coast and the islands of the north.
