El Ávila
Edit ThisEl Avila viewed from Parque del Este
The first thing you'll notice when arriving Caracas is certainly El Ávila. This impressive mountain with 2000 m. up to the sea level, and 1000 m. up to Caracas is the most important place for all the caraqueños. It's a National Park and thousands of people go up there daily to excercize and breathe fresh air. You'll fall in love for sure as everyone in this city is!

El Calvario
Edit ThisBig park at the top of a hill that affords an old church and a overall view of the city centre. In english, calvario means suffering, and it certainly is because to get to the top you've got to walk throug more tan a 100 steps! But up there, it's certainly beautiful
