Regency Suites Hotel

Located in Carrasco, just off the main street, Arocena.  Close to the beach, supermarket, cambios, restaurants, pharmacy, laundry, drycleaners, movies, etc.

Staff are very friendly and efficient, and will assist with almost anything.

Breakfast is included and features a nice spread of hot and cold dishes.  Room service features a small menu, but well-priced and tasty.

Most rooms are suites, with separate bedroom and living room, and a little kitchenette with microwave oven and mini-fridge, useful for longer stays.  There is DSL internet access, as well as a computer downstairs for use by guests.

Gym is small and not really worth using, but there is a hot tub in the same room.  There is also a small swimming pool outside.

Excellent accommodation choice for longer term stays or if you wish to stay closer to the airport.  Just be warned that Carrasco is still about a 15-20 minute taxi ride into downtown (e.g. Ciudad Vieja), or 170-250 pesos.
