Getting There

Pisco is 4 hours by bus from Lima. There are departures about every half hour, but since all busses leave from their own terminals, it is hard to find out when which bus goes, especially in Lima. Pisco is not directly on the Panamerican highway, so get a direct bus, or ask to be let off at the turnoff.

Ica is only one to one and half hour. There are also some shared taxis, which should be slightly more expensive then the USD 1 the bus costs.

There are also busses to Nazca (4 hours, USD 4), Arequipa (12 hours, USD 12) and places further a field, but you get better connection by first going to Ica.
