Getting Around

Edit This

Most villages can be reached with colectivo cars, which can travel even the most difficult roads. San Ignacio (and the villages on the main road) and Bagua Grande and Chico have got frequent minibus connections, as well as colectivos. In general cars are faster, but slightly more expensive.

In Jaén, ask a mototaxista to drop you off at the paradero for the place you want to go to. If there are cars and minibusses, you can count on them to drop you of at the car stop.
