Agro Oriente Viveros

Edit This

While it really isn't a park or public garden, Agro Oriente is a popular place for tourist with an interest in plants, particularly orchids.  The Villena family has dedicated itself to cultivating, producing, commercializing and exporting Peruvian orchids.  They also raise many other varieties of ornamental plants including bromiliads, ferns, anthuriums, and others.  While Agro Oriente is a working greenhouse and in the business of selling plants, they are used to tourists there.  They charge one sol (34 cents US) per person admission, a modest amount to see such a great collection of tropical plants.
