Rock Concerts in Peru

Rock music is alive and well in Peru.  One of the biggest stars in Peru is Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, who has been scheduled for his first concert in Peru on March 12, 2007.  The concert on Water's Dark Side of the Moon Tour is scheduled to run 2 hours and 45 minutes and will include standard Pink Floyd hits as well as songs from Waters solo albums.  The concert will include a 1 hour 15 minute rendition of The Dark Side of the Moon. 

March 9 and 10, 2007, are the dates scheduled for concerts by popular Spanish musician Alejandro Sanz to kick off his "El tren de los momentos (the train of moments) 2007" tour.  Monumental Stadium Explanda will be the venue for the concerts.

Other music stars who have appeared for concerts in Peru recently include Shakira and Mark Anthony.
