Cerro Yantuma
Edit This
Half an hour worth of walking out of town is the Cerro Yantuma. It’s a rolling hill, with a magnificent view over the whole area. The green pasture and the trees give it a very friendly feel. Starting at about 4 o’clock clouds start floating by, making it an almost spiritual place, ideal for a pick nick. The sunset can be tremendous here.
To get there, just follow the calle Caceras with the town hall behind you. Follow this road a kilometer or two, until you reach a very small village. Cross the plaza and follow the path between two houses, as seen on one of the photos. Follow any of the branches of the path, and you’ll get there.
