Getting There

By air

There are a number of airlines operating direct flights to Asunción from the USA and Europe as well as some other South American destinations. Most major airlines operate connecting flight via Brazil (São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro). There are also a number of schedules flights to Ascunción from other south American cities, notably Buenos Aires (Argentina), Santa Cruz (Bolivia) and Santiago (Chile).

The airport is located about 15 km out of town. Busses and taxis are operating. Car rental is possible.
