Banking

Bank machines can be found at a few locations around Georgetown but very few of them will accept foriegn cards.  Outside of Georgetown, very few ATMs exist.  It would be wise to arrive with a fair bit of US cash.  US cash is accepted at hotels and some resturants and is also easily exchanged at banks.  Travellers' cheques can also be exchanged at banks but there is often a hefty fee for doing so.  Outside of major hotels, credit cards and rarely accepted.
