Practical Information

This city is centrally located that from there you can travel Coast, Sierra, and to the west the rain forest or "Oriente" as we call it.  It is located two hours from the capital city Quito. The highways are really good and there are many landscapes that you can see.

 As a city that is not that old, has been developing very rapidly.  This fast developement has created fine stores, 5 stars hotels, Supermarkets, restaurants, Pubs, bars and discotheques and recently the new mall that is located at the main entrance of the city on the North side " The avenida Quito".

The local goverment is working to keep-up the city and its culture
