Pululahua Crater

A must see place near La Mitad del Mundo. You can take a bus from La Mitad del Mundo or a taxi for $2.50 to "El Mirador". From El Mirador you can walk down to the crater, it takes about 30 minutes and it is a very steep ride. If you stay on the left hand side of the trail, you will get to the Pululahua Hosta. This little cozy hostal is an inexpensive place where you can stay and explore the crater by horse, by bike, or simply by foot.
