Montañita beach

Just 40 miles north of SALINAS lies a majestic beach called Montañita. this is a laid back destination that has a safe and friendly feel to it. It is also a SURFERS TOWN. Many Latin Americans come to this place in order to participate in the Surfers events that takes place all year round. The road that takes you there borders the Pacific ocean which makes the ride very enjoyable and many local places to eat are available to try. Edit ThisOne of the beautiful beaches in the world. It's almost three hours from Guayaquil going throught La Ruta del Sol. Next to Puerto Rico is Piqueros, Puerto López, Los Frailes.
Come and visit La Ruta del Sol, you will never find those beautiful beaches in the world.

Playas
Edit ThisPlayas is a local beach that is less crowded then Salinas, Montanita or Esmeraldas. It is 25 miles from Guayaquil so it makes for a wonderful day trip. There are taxis and buses going there, or you can rent a car and take the North route out of town. Hotel rooms to put your things in right across from the beach for $20-$25 for the day. The local cevicherias are clean and tasty serving some of the best ceviches in the country (As the locals will tell you.) All of them are numbered so you can take your pick from the waiters more..
