Pastelería Francesa is located two blocks away from the town’s main square. This is a small, old-style French bakery and café that serves authentic French pastries, breads, coffee and hot chocolate. The menu also includes tarts, baguettes, quiches, white and whole wheat bread, cakes and other homemade treats. While at Pastelería Francesa some of the treats you must try are the pain au chocolat, croissant de almendras, feijoa tart, coffee and hot choco.
El Cortijo is a famous hot spot among the locals of Villa de Leyva. It is a simple restaurant-bar with a laid back and rustic atmosphere, perfect for casual dining or chilling out with friends. El Cortijo is famous for the sumptuous and mouth-watering grilled meats. This bar/grill and restaurant also serves ice cold beers, wines and cocktails. It features a live band that performs every night.
This is a vibrant little café which serves a great selection of local and international cuisines. Al Horno is artistically decorated and has a colorful vibe and bubbly atmosphere. Another popular hot spot in Villa de Leyva is the La Terraza Bar and Restaurant. It is located in the northern part of Plaza Mayor and it serves International/Western and local dishes.
