Camping is primitive everywhere, but it is allowed.

Refugio

There is a refugio (chalet del Ruiz) about 4 000 m up the Nevada Ruiz. You’ll find a wooden hut with beds and blankets (cost is about $US10 per night—bring your own food).

A new place called Cisnes has been recentely built in the nearbies.
