Cali Viejo

Relaxed and shaded atmosphere with fine dining in a very traditional colonial Cali setting.  Even servers are all dressed in traditional festive colonial garb.  Food is well prepared with traditional Cali style dishes, such as the steaks.  I recommend the giant friend plantains with the dipping sauce.  Desserts are fine too, but the great relaxed atmosphere almost distracts from the delicous dining.  Orchid plants cluster in the tall trees and should be incredible when in bloom, probably around early spring time.  Location is slightly remote, but still considerably popular.  It is just past the city zoo at the end of the same street.
