SIghtseeing Tours and Active Plans in Bogota

If you are tourist coming to Bogota, or even if you live in the city but want to explore it, I really recommend a great website which incudes all Bogota in one site: www.destinobogota.com

There you can find tourist information, sightseeng tours within the city and in its sorroundings, active plans such as extreme sports and much more. I personally took the Coffee Experience Tour and loved it! The service was amazing and a I loved the tour!

Plaza SantaMaría

Located near the Parque de la Independencia, the Plaza SantaMaría is home to one of the more graceful, or disgusting, spectacles in Bogotá, depending on whom you ask. Bullfights take place on Sunday afternoons during the season (around Jan-Feb), and tickets range from $50.000 to $300.000.

Autopista Norte Km 21. Races on weekends and holidays in the 80's. Now is the fedd field for horses.

Southwest of town, it was in operation until the 70's. Now is the place of a mechanic park "Mundo Aventura", fun for the family.

Bogota Bici-Cafe

The Bici-Cafe, in Bogota's historic center, offers bike tours and rentals, with bilingual guides and both beach cruisers and multi-speed bikes.

The Bici-Cafe is located in the center of the Historic Candelaria neighborhood, near many hotels and hostels. They have tours of the historic center, cultural and religious sites and the city parks, among others.

It also has the largest selection of used books in English, as well as some in French and German, in the neighborhood.
