Cranky Croc Hostel

Opened in 2008, Cranky Croc is tipped to become the favourite choice for backpackers staying in the Candelaria. Australian owner Andy Farrington has tastefully restored a 200 year old colonial building into the perfect backpacker hostel right in the heart of Colombia's capital.

Platypus Hostel

Posada del SOL is new base camp for travelers in Bogota. The owner Danny himself was a RTW backpacker since 2003, all the things in the hostel are considered carefully.

The facilities are all new, superb. High quality innerspring mattress, 2 individual kitchens, 46" LCD TV and so on. Many things for chill-out are prepared as well, such as HD Movie room, pingpong table, board games, video games. Also the hostel offers Private Spanish class by certified teacher from Los Andes university.
