International Convention of RPG

Every year, the "Devir Livraria" (Bookshop Devir) promotes the biggest RPG (Role Playing Game) event in the country, usually taking place in parks or big convention spaces. The event consists of stands of RPG editors (International and Brazilian), fan clubs and Comics. A huge space is reserved for playing table RPG, lkjlive action role playing (LARP) and card games. A lot of seminars about RPG, fantasy and science-fiction related themes are given. There are also lots of stands with drink and food.

Many times, international authors and known people from the Comics and RPG community are brought to give autographs and seminars.

If you decide to attend, prices are usually very low and students always pay half-price (if they show a valid student card). It is a good idea to bring a camera as you will see people with sometimes very sofisticated costumes as long as a lot of people wearing black clothes and overcoats.
