CASA DA FEIJOADA

After a breakfast composed of açai and a grilled cheese sandwich, my friend and I weren't hungry until late afternoon, when we made the wise decision to try the main local dish (drumroll)... the Feijoada Brasileira! We went to this restaurant in the Ipanema neighborhood aptly called Casa da Feijoada and by now, hungry as we were, went straight for the main dish. These guys make a mean feijoada, tell you what! We also sipped some caipirinhas, which we were told, go together like peas and carrots when it comes to feijoada. A superb experience indeed!
