Among them, Farroupilha Park is one of the biggest parks in the city and gets thousands of visitors especially on Sundays. Spread around 370,000 sq. meters, it has an amusement park and a mini-zoo where your children can have a good time. There is also a solar retreat, a small market, cycling tracks, soccer fields,  an athletic sports track, a gym and an auditorium that can accommodate 4500 people. The park has a flea market , which is a major tourist attraction.   The Sunset Porto Alegre is very famous for its sunset. Every day, people gather at the Guaiba Lake to witness the afterglow of the sun that covers the sky with beautiful golden lights. This experience may last only for a few minutes; however, the view is worth a lifetime. Make sure you carry some extra clothes as the temperature can drop due to the sea breeze.   Aparados da Serra National Park Situated in Santa Catarina about 116 miles from Porto Alegre, this national park has tremendous mountains that are separated from each other by not more than 250 km and offer a great view of the beach and Torres sea to the north side of the state. It is advisable to avoid going there on a rainy day. There are various other places to enjoy and party at night in the city which makes it an ideal holiday spot to spend quality time with your loved ones.
