A restaurant with excellent food and patronized by tourists because it has like 10 computers for people that want to use e mail, which I did constantly using microsoft hotmail, that can be used any place in the world.

A taxi should cost like a $1.50 (dollars) private taxi any place in La paz, food in the cafe ciudad will go up to $7 dollars relatively reasonable, by the way American money is used any place even in cafe ciudad , just make sure you get the oficial exchange while I was there, this April 99, it was like 5.80 pesos Bolivianos to one American dollar.
