In El Alto you can either go for a luxury or a budget experience.  For a luxury hotel in El Alto consider the Casa Grande Hotel or the Suites Camino Real.  Both are modern, contemporary hotels located in the city.  The Casa Grande is located in the city center while the Camino is near the arts museum. If you are looking for only basic amenities the Hotel LP Columbus or the Ritz All Suites are a good value.   The Hotel LP Columbus is near Sagarnaga St while the Ritz is right by the foreign embassies.
