Coroico is best known as a place to just chill and enjoy nature and the clean swimming pools. You can find great restaurants and some bars, and some hotels offer relaxation services. Different rivers are inviting for a plunge , for sunbathing on the hot rocks of the river bed or just enjoying nature. Everything between 3 hours and 3 days can be done in the area. If walking just goes to slow for you, you can take a horse or have a thrill on a bike . There are tours for beginners to die hard mountain bike fanatics. If you’ve done the “Most Dangerous Road” in the world, you haven’t seen anything yet. If you’re in for a small adventure , loads of options: try to reach places like the Kori Wayku Inca trail crossing the river or the unwelcoming jungle, the haunted Perolani waterfalls, the isolated Gates of the Devil,… Coroico surrounded by 100's of differnet micro climates, from the no tree zone to deep jungle sub tropics, all within walking distanes or day hike.
