Getting There

There is no airport on the Peninsular.   The nearest is Puerto Madryn.   Trelew is about 2 hours drive from Puerto Madryn.   Airline service in Argentina is in a state of flux so check which airport has service.

There are no regular public transport services to the Peninsular.   You can take a tour from Puerto Madryn, hire a collectivo in Puerto Madryn or use a hire car.   The road from Puerto Madryn on to the Peninsular is paved initially but becomes gravel.   Make sure that if you hire a car the insurance will cover all of the risks associated with driving on gravel and drive slowly.
