Spring Green Travel Guide

Spring Green is a small town located on the Wisconsin River about 40 miles west of the state capitol, Madison. It was the home of Frank Lloyd Wright and his influence in architecture is evident in one of the local banks and the Catholic church. Tours of his studio are available for a charge. House On The Rock (Hwy #23) is a one-of-a-kind tourist attraction where extraordinary displays, automatons and a walk out glass enclosure places you high above a Wisconsin valley. The American Players theater is nearby. It is an open air theater performing several Shakespeare plays every summer season. Spring Green is noted for its annual juried art/craft fair the last weekend in June.
