Matt's In The Market

Located in the Sanitary Market Building, Matt's posesses a great view of the market.  Better than the view is the food.  While the lunch crowd dines on exceptional Po Boys and the excellent seared tuna sandwich, the staff searches out the freshest fish, vegetables, spices and other ingredients in the market to make dinner.

Posessive locals may shudder at the inclusion of this gem in a travel guide, but it's hard not to share a great place like Matt's.  Matt's is very small and you may have to wait to get in.  There are other worthy options at the more..

Silence Heart Nest

Silence-Heart-Nest Restaurant moved at the end of March 2005 to Seattle's Fremont District. It now serves breakfast, lunch and brunch.
