The Alexis Hotel

One of the first-class hotel selections in Seattle is the Alexis Hotel.  Located on First Avenue, the Alexis is in a good location for moderate walks to most downtown locations.  To the West is the waterfront.  To the North, the Pike Place Market.  South is Pioneer Square.  Northeast, is the main shopping district.  It's all less than a mile, so if you're ready to part with some shoe leather to see the town, the Alexis hotel is a good central basecamp.  If after your sojurns into the city you're a bit weary, the spa at the Alexis is definitely worthy of a visit.

The service at this hotel has few rivals worldwide.  Ask the Sultan of Brunei.  He nearly bought the hotel so he could stay there.  Attentive staff make sure not only that your needs are taken care of, but that you feel like you're being pampered along the way.
