Years back I went North Cascade Nat'l park In Washington State with some fellow church members well about 30 of us, I know I was so exited, I was around 14 ys old. They sayed we were going on a mule train and set up came deep up in the mountains, With my young mind I was think cool we are going to ride mules up the trails, To my suprize the mules where there to pack our stuff up the trails, well at that time I was disapointed we had to Hike about 5 miles In No mans land. once we got to where are camp had already been set up. Our Camp was set up near a small lake I was So exited i loved to fish and still do, standing there fishing I can still pitcure In my mind the reflections of the snow capped Moutains in the water.. Pulled some nice trout outta that lake .. We were Up in the cascade's for 3 night's, being young not having a worry on our minds, I remember being more content then ever reading my Bible on a big boulder feeling so comfortable. The wildlife act as if the have never seen a human before the deer come up near you and sniff your scent out of the air, I was amazed. As evening rolled around we all sat around the Blazing campfire cooking our potatos getting ready to eat our dinner ..We would tell stories and read some parts from the Bible.. It seemed so relaxing up there in those there mountains. One of these days I would Love to go back to that same area, I know I would enjoy It a lot more now that I am older, On the way back out of the after we had our breakfest they asked if we all wanted a coke cola.. we all went YEAAAAA we had no such thing the whole time up there .. well we got a coke cola alright a candy flavered :-) But all in all Its a great place to spend a weekend or weeks plenty to do if you are into the true Outdoors
