Once the center of downtown life, Crossroads Plaza was demolished in 2007. This was a fantastic shopping center but it's now a fading memory. Legend has it that the Mormon Church now owns the land, and will create something with it in the near future, something that will tie in with Temple Square to the north. Meanwhile, a gaping wound remains in the downtown fabric. Crossroads, we'll miss you.

Gateway Shopping Center
Edit ThisThe Gateway center is a sprawling outdoor mall that runs north-south between the old Union Station and 300 south. Home to the usual chain stores and some high end shops, it's become the must-shop destination that Crossroads Plaza used to be.
