Nightlife and Entertainment in Salt Lake City

Surprisingly, Salt Lake City offers much in the realm of entertainment and nightlife. There are several good brewpubs in town that serve up excellent local brews and food. Many "private clubs" (establishments that serve booze by the drink without food) exist; everything from posh and exclusive to seedy and dangerous is available. The live music scene is phenomenal; pick up some of the local newspapers to find out who is jamming where and when. Museums in the metro area are constantly bringing in new exhibits and shows, so check up on that in local papers for the latest. Basketball fans will find the NBA at the Delta Center. World Cup ski racing happens at area resorts in season. There's never a shortage of things to do in SLC.
