Big Bend National Park Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeWords cannot describe its beauty.
A great place for sollitude, this is one of the less visited national parks due to its isolated location. Great place to go to get away -- but come prepared! It's a 3 hour drive to Del Rio, and then another 3 hours from there to San Antonio. Even flying from within the US it will take a day to get here. And stock up on food and water no later than Del Rio (check out Wal Mart in Uvalde if possible) - this is the isolated desert. There are no strip malls. There is barely potable water in the towns on the park's west.
