Myrtle Beach is one of the top tourist spots on the Atlantic Coast.  It is one of the best places to go golfing in the whole of the US, with over 100 challenging courses of every price range.  A temperate year round climate, breathtaking scenic beauty, and first class accommodations, all contribute to Myrtle Beach being a top choice of golfers & beach goers!

The Grand Strand area is also home to the South's most dazzling array of shopping. Here you will find Broadway at the Beach, a 350 acre, shopping, entertainment, dining and theater complex. There are also hundreds of huge restaurants of every imaginable type, and the new Coastal Grand mall.  A favorite of many is Akel's Restaraunt.  They offer many different selections but be sure to try their breakfast menu!

If you are a baseball fan, be sure to check out the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, class A farm club of the Atlanta Braves. Former Myrtle Beach players currently with the Braves include Marcus Giles, Rafael Furcal, Mark DeRosa, Adam LaRoche, Charles Thomas, and more.

To the south of Myrtle Beach is Pawleys Island.  Less congested yet surrounded by great golf courses, shopping and dining, this area is tough to beat.  Accomodations at Litchfield by the Sea offer a private beach along with a host of activities on site including a new water park.
