Nightlife and Entertainment in Philadelphia
Edit ThisThe best example of this phenomenon is the city's burgeoning wine culture. The region sports an up-and-coming wine region, it also has one of the finest BYO scenes in the county. It even has its own wine school!
Philadelphia is quickly becoming a destination for wine enthusiasts across the east coast.
The Wine School of Philadelphia
Edit ThisThe school is a not-for-profit school that trains winemakers and sommeliers. However, its wine tasting classes are open to the public.
These individual wine classes are geared to the wine enthusiast, and are a very good way to spend an evening. Several of the instructors are also former & current writers for Wine Spectator, Style, and Wine & Spirits.
Food is not served at this establishment, so it is recommended to eat prior to the class.
