Erie Travel Guide

Erie is located in the extreme northwest corner of Pennsylvania.  It is approximately equidistant from Pittsburgh, Cleveland OH, and Buffalo NY.  The city is located on the shores of Lake Erie, and no visitor should miss Presque Isle State Park, a sandy peninsula which stretches out into the lake.  Lake Erie is also one of the best places to fish in Pennsylvania. People come from all over the Tri-State area to take part in the fishing experience.

Erie is located on interstates 79 & 90, and has its own airport. 

There is so much to see and do for the whole family! They have an awesome amusement park Waldemeer and Water World, as well as Splash Lagoon, one of the worlds greatest Indoor water parks! It has many art museums and it even has a museum for children too. Erie is also a great place for sports fans. From their Erie Seawolves baseball team to the Erie Otters Hockey to the Erie Freeze Indoor Football, theres always a sporting event to keep the fun going.
