Benton Travel Guide

One of the nicest trails out of many here in Pennsylvania that I have been to is "Falls Trail" it is located in benton,PA. Rickett's Glen State Park, Lake Jean off rt.487. I fell in love with this trail. Falls Trail is 3 miles long, It has more than 20 waterfalls along it, The largest which is 94 foot "Ganoga". it can take a good day to hike te trail If you are a adventerios person like me, I didn't just hike I stoped at every waterfall and and admired it. I been to ricketts glen about 6 times and I will go back. I took my ex girlfriend on the trail also, It is so peaceful and relaxing. For those who have been there know exactly what I am talking about, For those who havn't been there It is worth Planning this trail on your next venture. I meet wonderful people on this trail and great conversation. I took alot of pictures along this trail at least 50 in all. you will see all kinds of wildlife. the trail is maintained somewhat it is very steep in places. It get very muddy and slippery.. My niece which is 7 now hiked with my brother and I, She loved it, She had no problem walking it only needed help down a few areas of the trail a few times. Falls trail is stuningly beautiful At any time of year, It Is worth Taking a day and experence it.. There is camping avalible near Jean lake. I even at one time considered putting my aplication in at the park just to have the opportunity to be there every day.
