Silverton Travel Guide

On your way to or from Silver Falls State Park, schedule a tour of  the stained glass windows of Trinity Lutheran Church. The historic German stained glass windows are open for viewing any day of the week by individuals or groups by prior appointment only.  Beginning May 15 through August, drop-in tours without appointment are also available on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. The 18 windows, which depict "The Lord's Prayer," are an excellent example of German religious art of the early 20th century and were commissioned in 1910.  Each window is composed of stained, colored, and painted glass.  The free guided tours are at Trinity Lutheran Church, 500 N.
