Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and see
Located in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, Tahlequah is a city of over 14,000 people.  Tahlequah is probably best known as the home of Northeastern Oklahoma State University and birthplace of Cherokee Chief Wilma Mankiller.  A horse that was sometimes used as publicity for Mr. Ed (television) is burried there.
