Located in Washington County in the northeast Oklahoma, Bartlesville is a city of nearly 35,000 people.  Bartlesville is known as the "city of legends".  It is home to dramatic architecture and world-renowned events.  Its largest employer is ConocoPhillips oil company.

The city experienced a big oil boom when Frank Phillips discovered oil; one of the major attractions near this town is his Ranch. The Woolaroc Ranch houses an impressive collection of western art, artifacts and special exhibits. Also a wildlife preserve, more than 700 animals including buffalo, elk, deer and longhorn cattle gaze freely on the ranch.

For those visiting in the month of June, the National Biplane Expo and OK Mozart International Festival offer two unique event experiences.  The only skyscraper the Frank Lloyd Wright designed is in Bartlesville.

A daytrip can be made to Dewey, where you'll find the Tom Mix Museum and Prairie Song, a recreated 1800s pioneer village.
