Alva Travel Guide

The county seat of Woods County, Oklahoma, Alva is a quiet town of more than 5,300 people.  Alva is best known as the home of Northwestern Oklahoma State Unuversity.  The downtown is built on the old town square format with the courthouse in the center.

In September 2007, there weren´t too many restaurants open in Alva on a Sunday afternoon.  Pizza Hut was the best choice, but you can hardly go wrong with Pizza Hut.
