Jack Nicklaus Museum
Edit ThisOpened in May 2002 and located on the campus of The Ohio State University, the museum exhibits memorabilia of Jack's successful golf career and highlights his contributions to the history of the game. Photos and memorabilia chronicle his life from growing up in Columbus, attending The Ohio State University, to his successful career on the PGA Tour and later the Senior PGA Tour. Included are trophies from Nicklaus' record 18 major championships.

The Thurber House
Edit ThisThe James Thurber House Museum celebrates the life and works of the Columbus native who wrote celebrated humorous stories for The New Yorker -- among them, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" -- and whose cartoons for that magazine, drawing deeply on his aspirations and fears, are unsurpassed for originality, insight, or quirkiness.
The museum sponsors a wide range of educational programs, workshops, and book readings. Thurber memorabilia and copies of most of his books are on sale at the museum bookshop.
