Columbus Travel Guide

While many do not expect Columbus to be a cultural mecca, there's definitely more going on than Ohio State football and Wendys, as many people think.  There are good museums, good eats, cool neighborhoods, good sports, and a truly rockin' music scene - you just have a dig a little deeper.  Hey, it's not New York, it's not Los Angeles, and it's not Chicago - but if you really want to see what the swarming masses of middle America look like (instead of spending all of your cash and energy on the coasts) then cities like Columbus, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Cleveland are worth a visit. There's a lot to learn about the United States in these places - both good and bad - so open your mind and give it a chance.
