Reachable by subway, Coney Island is a New York trademark. Although it needs to be renovated, it offers a great view into old New York and is always fun on a hot summer day.

Walk to the end of the boardwalk and go to Brighton beach, known as little Odessa. This area is mainly Russian or people from the Former Soviet Union. There are many good restaurants at reasonable prices.

Coney Island is in New York City. It is located in Brooklyn, one of the city's 5 boroughs.
