Getting Around

The CARTS (short for Chautauqua Area Rural Transit System) is a small sized agency that operates a public transit agency for residents and visitors of Chautaqua County.

In the City of Jamestown proper, there are four loop routes, serving Willard Street, South-West Jamestown, Baker Street and .  Service operates every hour during daylight hours on weekdays.

There is also service into the "suburbs" of Jamestown on the Falconer and Lakewood runs.  Falconer service is every 45 minutes, and Lakewood service is every 90 minutes via Jones & Gifford, and 90 minutes via Chautauqua Mall.
