Getting Around in Ithaca (Tompkins County)

In addition, connections are available to other regional carriers such as Chemung County Transit (from Elmira), Corland Transit and Broome County Transit (Binghamton, Endicott, Johnson City).
The Tompkins County Airport north of Ithaca also offers non-stop commuter aircraft service to Philadelphia, New York (LaGuardia), and Pittsburgh.
Coach USA and Greyhound also offer a number of trips every day to a number of regional destinations from Downtown Ithaca. The terminal for both carriers is 710 West State St., Ithaca, NY.

Edit ThisThe Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit system is the primary carrier for Tompkins County, NY. Using the name TCAT Bus, the service covers almost every corner of the City of Ithaca NY, rural service to a number of communities such as Trumansburg and Dryden, and a campus-wide shuttle service for the Cornell University Campus.
With the existance of the Cornell Campus, there is frequent DAILY service between the Commons (Downtown Ithaca) and the Cornell campus. Other areas see service at least hourly on weekdays during daylight hours and limited service to the more..
