Cheektowaga Travel Guide

Cheektowaga is a first-tier suburb, just east of Buffalo.

A typical suburban locale, it is home to the Galleria Mall (the regions largest shopping mall), and the Greater Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

UNION ROAD and HARLEM ROAD are its two major north-south roadways, while WILLIAM STREET, BROADWAY, WALDEN AVENUE and GENESEE STREET are its east to west thoroughfares.

Being the home of the Airport and Walden Galleria Mall, the town of Cheektowaga sees a lot of traffic, as well as accidents from this traffic.  PAY ATTENTION to road signs.

The NFTA also operates a number of transit centers, allowing passengers to get across the town and the surrounding area rather easily using their bus system.
