If there is a time to visit Albuquerque, make sure it is during October for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. This Albuquerque attraction draws thousands worldwide every year. The balloon that are displayed are absolutely gorgeous. There are balloons in the shape of Snoopy, stagecoaches, cars, bees, flowers, dinosaurs, cactuses, and advertisements for many companies. One cool thing is that in the morning before the races, people can view the balloons and talk with the pilots as they are being prepped.
