Tagged as the "Brick City" because of its plentiful of housing projects.  The current state of Newark, New Jersey is changing as most of its housing projects have been demolished and in its place are community of houses.  Newark had a rough past dating back to the 1960's, but it is now a growing city with many new developments, growth, and positivity.  The crime and violence is still a major concern in the city, but is also at the top of the list for law enforcement.

Newark International Airport (EWR) is one of the largest commercial airports in the nation and is in the heart of the city.  Accessible by both the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway nearby, Newark's airport is a good alternative to New York City airports often times due to location.  Traveling to and from the airport for short distances is easy via the numerous cab companies.
