New Jersey is just south of New York, just 'cross the river to the Jersey side' as Jersey born Bruce Springsteen sings. The New Jersey Atlantic coastline has beautiful sandy beaches from Cape May in the south all the way to the famous Atlantic City. If travelling from the south, a ferry ride from the state of Delaware across the Delaware Bay is quite enjoyable and the easiest way to reach Cape May.
