Bars and Cafes in Las Vegas
Edit ThisThere are plenty of popular Las Vegas bars and cafes which offer something for every taste. There is the party-like atmosphere of Coyote Ugly and the more tame Promenade Cafe among the many choices.
Movie-Famous Coyote Ugly
Made famous by the “Coyote Ugly” movie of the 1990s, this bar has an active nightlife. It is located inside the New York New York Hotel and Casino. In 2010, general admission is $10, but it costs twice as much to be at the front of the line. This famous or infamous bar lives up to the hype portrayed in the movie. If you’re looking for fancy cocktail drinks, you won’t find them here. Have a shot or drink some beer. Pick your favorite song off the jukebox, and there is dancing on the bar top for the women. If you like your nights loud and rowdy, this is the place for you.
Quiet Promenade Café
If you are in the mood for a nice quiet meal instead of a loud party somewhere, Promenade Café is located off the strip in the Marriott Summerlin Resort's Rampart Casino. It is an elegant restaurant and offers dishes from all around the world at an average cost of $15 or less for dinner. Dining at off-peak times of day would cost less. Promenade Cafe offers a different pace and a step away from the busy strip. It is open 24 hours a day.
